Rachael Ray’s Scarf Suggests Support Of Terrorism

Dunkin Donuts

Celebrity chef Rachael Ray has been caught in a storm of controversy for a fashion choice made by a stylist during a Dunkin’ Donuts commercial shoot.

The advertisement that appeared on the web featured the talk show host in a fringed black and white scarf that resembles the black and white checkered Kaffiyeh which is the traditional Palestinian scarf.

The similar scarf represents murderous Palestinian jihad and has been worn by Muslim terrorists during hostage videos. Rachael Ray wearing the scarf in the ad suggested to some the symbolic support for Muslim extremism and terrorism.

Dunkin’ Donuts has made the decision to pull the ad and has stated that “absolutely no symbolism was intended.”

Court Rules In Favor Of FLDS Mothers

Published by christyz under U.S. News Edit This

1fldshearings.jpg

Today, on the fourth day of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Texas appeals court hearings, the court ruled in favor of the 38 mothers that had challenged the removal of their children.

It’s been over six weeks since the state took custody of 460 FLDS children. The children ranging from infancy to adulthood were removed abruptly from their Eldorado compound based on a phone call from an alleged sect member siting abuse. A phone call that’s been proven to be nothing more than a hoax.

The court overturned the sect custody case because the children at the Yearning For Zion Ranch were not in an urgent need of protection and no attempts were made to make it possible for children to remain with their parents.

The court also said today that it was wrong for the state to consider the entire ranch as an individual household.

Amazingly enough it turns out that the state “took custody” of 15 adult females that child welfare authorities decided were teenagers. Even when I.D. was shown as proof of age, the women were ignored. The oldest woman that they forced from the ranch was 27.

Although today’s ruling was a victory for the polygamist parents, it is not yet known when the children will be returned to them.
