NBC political journalist and author Tim Russert died of a heart attack June 13th, 2008. Born May 7, 1950 in Buffalo, New York he was the host of NBC’s Meet the Press for 16 years, and was a correspondent for many top-rated NBC television shows including “The Today Show.” He was only 58 years old at the time of his death.

this was shocking news, i watched him occasionally, i wonder who they will get to fill his shoes.
